Depth of Touch Therapy

Welcome to Depth of Touch Therapy

About Me

I am Denise Nelson, an Emotional, Physical, and Mental intuitive specializing in "Depth of Touch Therapy," a new technique in intuitive energy deep tissue massage.  Since the age of 8 I have been doing hands on healing

I was hit in a crosswalk on my bicycle in 2001; a driver turned right and impacted my left hip so hard I flew a couple of car lengths away and landed on my right hip.  I am here to tell you that there are NO accidents :)  Everything happens for a reason.  I went through disability and rehab for 5 months with no positive progress; I was getting extremely frustrated because I felt like some things they did made me worse, some made me better.  I ended up stopping disability and the rehab center and kept the chiropractic.  I added massage therapy. Within 2 months I knew I had found the key!

From the age of 8 I wanted to be a healer and even had my mother inquire into massage schools for me when I was a teenager, but was discouraged by the dean of the school because of my youth. I have never stopped using my healing touch on those around me from the time I was a kid. Everywhere I've gone people have gotten my healing touch.

Now in my 40's, I have 32+ years experience.  I have had extensive training at Southern California School of Massage in Riverside, Bryman College in Anaheim, and California Academy for the Healing Arts in Costa Mesa.  I have been a member of American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since 2002.  I am a licensed and Nationally Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Reiki master.

I specialize in helping to repair the body, ease the mind, and renew the spirit :)

My favorite Quotation is, “If you can worry, you can meditate." by Joyce Meyer

More About Me

I grew up in Orange County when there were still orange groves in orange.  My first real job (during high school) was Domino's Pizza.  After high school I was a live in nanny for my best friend’s sister.  A couple of years of that and I decided to go into the US Navy; I ended up spending 5 years enlisted during Desert Storm.  Before and after the military I was a “Jill of all trades” working anything from demolition, reclamation, construction, landscaping, driving, clerical, computer software troubleshooting, movie consessions, color consulting, retail, marketing research, customer service, food service, management, and more just trying to find my niche and gaining experience along the way; healing was that niche.
